About Me

I’m a psychology researcher and one of the world’s leading esports and video game mental health experts. I currently hold dual roles as a Senior Research Fellow (Esports and Video Games) at Movember and a Senior Lecturer at Southern Cross University.

My research explores how video game and esports participation shape mental health, identity, and performance, from grassroots communities to elite competitors.

My goal is simple: to help gamers, players, and communities thrive — online and offline.
